Dictate in hiragana

Hi,

for Japanese dictate was waning to have the option to dictate in hiragana only as well as normal Japanese. Would be useful for me when dictating words I don’t know, also some sites like bunpro you could just hiragana dictate to answer questions.

Is Dictate to Hiragana going to be a feature one day?

Because honestly Dictating induvial words to kanji is not very helpful, it guesses it wrong very often.

This is a shortcoming in the speech-to-text engine for Japanese and not directly LipSurf, we have little control over that. It’s possible that we will switch the engine that’s being used one day. The best way to have kanji be more accurate is context - eg. saying words as a part of sentences.
