What do I say to press the delete key?

I’m trying to remove a bunch of extra hard returns in a Google doc, and to my surprise there was no command to press the delete key

Hi @jdevi we’re adding a slew of editing commands in the next version v3.7.0. I’ll be sure to include something for deleting words as well. Thanks for letting us know about your use case!

Hi @jdevi happy to let you know that the “backspace” command will do what you need. You can of course add a custom shortcut “delete” → “backspace” if you prefer saying “delete”. You can also say backspace and a number (eg. “backspace 6”).
